Bio
Hallie is the Founder and Owner of Ivy League Graduate Tutors who serves as Head Master Academic and Test Prep Tutor and Coordinator as well as Chief Educational Admissions Advisor. Hallie’s academic career highlights include the distinction of serving as her high school salutatorian of a graduating class of 400, AP Scholar with Honors, and National Merit Commended Scholar as well as national recognition for her community service as a Toyota Community Scholar and a Coca-Cola Semifinalist.
Education
Hallie attended the University of Pennsylvania (UPENN) where she graduated with a BA in the Biological Basis of Behavior major, an interdisciplinary major focusing on neuroscience, biology, and psychology and a minor in Psychology. She performed undergraduate and graduate school science laboratory research in neuroscience, specifically in animal models of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and neurodegenerative autoimmune disorders including MS. Hallie also holds a Master’s Degree in the Sciences, specializing in Biomedical Sciences and Neuroscience in addition to performing public health and neuroscience research. Hallie is a former Adjunct Professor in the Sciences Department at SUNY schools & Mercy College where she has taught Biology and Anatomy and Physiology lecture and laboratory courses to college students.

Hallie devotes all her energies for over the last decade to Ivy League Graduate Tutors as Academic & Test Preparation Director and as an international test prep expert. She designed and implemented the world’s first 80-hour intensive SAT course in Asia when the new SAT debuted in 2016. In her role as Chief Consultant at Ivy League College Consultants, Hallie serves as a Private School & College Consulting Admissions Advisor. Hallie tutors students in elementary school through graduate and graduate school as well as adult learners in Academic Subjects and achieves exceptional academic and test preparation results including top scores on SAT. ACT, SSAT, AP, ISEE, HSPT, GRE, and GMAT exams for students of all ages. She takes pride in selectively working each admissions school with college, graduate school, and private school applicants on admissions consulting services nationwide. Stephanie

As a lover of the written word, Stephanie works as a freelance writer and editor and looks forward to similar opportunities at Ivy League College Consultants. Stephanie tutors students from elementary through graduate school in academic subjects as diverse as Algebra to , critical thinking, metacognitive strategies, executive functions, study skills and strategies, and post-colonial literature. Stephanie maintains active alumni networks serving on Penn’s Secondary School Committee & as an active Reunion Chairwoman.
Education
Stephanie completed her B.A. at the University of Pennsylvania (UPENN) in English with a minor in Sociology. During her time at Penn, Stephanie tutored students in West Philadelphia High Schools and Irish schoolchildren during her year abroad at University College Dublin. After leaving her full time educational endeavors at Penn, Stephanie earned a Masters in Education concentrated on Curriculum and Instruction and a Masters of Arts in English Literary Studies. Stephanie is currently working towards completing her Doctorate of Education dissertation at Northeastern University.

Stephanie has been teaching in public and private schools for almost fifteen years, exclusively in New England secondary boarding schools for the past nine years. She has worked with Admissions at both boarding schools and liaises with her current Admissions office at a rigorous college preparatory day school in Southern California. Stephanie’s current educational role is as a learning differences specialist who works with students, parents, and teachers to ensure that all parties have the educational and brain-based strategies to support academic, social, and personal student success. Stephanie has experience with neurodiverse students, the College Board Services for Students with Disabilities, and ACT’s Test Accessibility and Accommodation System providing her with a unique perspective and wealth of knowledge to share with families and students alike.

Miles


Master Tutor, Educational Admissions Advisor

Harvard University Graduate, BA English

Education
Miles graduated cum laude from Harvard College, where he received a B.A. in English. His senior thesis, a collection of poems entitled “The Candle is Forever Learning to Sing,” won several awards, including the Lloyd McKim Garrison prize for best poem by a Harvard undergraduate, and the David McCord prize for unusual creative talent.

In high school, Miles attended the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics in Vancouver, WA. In 11th grade, Miles won national recognition at the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. He would go on to be named one of five National Student Poets, an honor conferred by the Library of Congress and the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities. His year as a National Student Poet included leading workshops, giving readings, implementing a community service project, and a private meeting with the Obamas. He was invited to teach at the Between the Lines program at the University of Iowa in 2016.

Miles is a Master Tutor who specializes in English language and writing, test preparation (all levels), and the admissions process for private and boarding school as well as school college applications. Miles private/boarding school students have been accepted to Riverdale, Hackely, Rye Country Day, Ursuline, Taft, The Gunnery, and other fine private and boarding schools. Miles tutors a variety of writing-related subjects, including college applications, English, creative writing, and the humanities. Miles also assists students with private and boarding school test preparation, (P)SAT, SATI, and AP exams. Miles also hosts several writing courses, both individual and small group, with Ivy League Graduate Tutors. Miles is an educational advisor who assists with private/boarding school, college, and graduate school essay development. Miles achieved top scores himself on undergraduate admissions exams and trains students for the entirety of the SAT I/II and ACT as well as AP exams as well and the admissions process and has assisted students from 5 continents toward top colleges admissions in the US including including Harvard, Cornell, and other top colleges.

Miles is also an accomplished musician, and has toured solo and with his band through 18 states along with Canada and Europe.

Charles

Charles is originally from the Charlotte, North Carolina area. Charles’ drive and competitive nature leads to his competition in Sailing regattas. Charles also enjoys traveling to the coast to sail during the summers. Generally, Charles can be found outside when the weather is nice and on the water in some capacity. His interest goes beyond outdoor hobbies but includes environmental activism to clean up the waterways that he sails in.

Charles received undergraduate degrees from Wofford College in Physics and Columbia University in Mechanical Engineering. Charles is a merit scholar and received Magna Cum Laude distinction at Wofford College. As an undergraduate student, Charles has engaged in multiple projects dealing with complex problems and applied challenges found in engineering. Charles is currently working in field as an Aerospace Engineer.

Using his experiences from his dual undergraduate degrees specializing in Mathematics and Sciences, Charles has helped students with the sciences as well as advanced test prep,with specialties in Physics and Math. Tiffany is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a double concentration in Finance and Actuarial Science and a minor in Criminology.

Tiffany attended the Bronx High School of Science. She received the Stanley Cohen Bass award for excellence in academics and sports in 2019. She was an integral member of the Girls Varsity Soccer, Basketball, and Flag Football teams.

Walter is a rising junior at UPENN’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics. Walter graduated as valedictorian from a public charter high school in Connecticut where he founded the chess club and wrote an original academic research paper on the effect of posters in the classroom on student academic performance.

Walter’s extracurricular activities include serving as a Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics (MEAMS) student ambassador, and a PENNCAP Office Assistant.

Walter specializes in STEAM subjects: Math including Calculus, Science including Physics and Chemistry, and all Engineering courses with a specialty in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics courses.

Elom

Bio
Within the greater Philadelphia community, Elom can be found regularly performing community service. Elom is also a Student Volunteer with Gear UP Philadelphia where she taught English to students and assists teachers with instructional material and classroom leadership. Elom is an active member of the The Netter Center for Community Partnerships Evaluation Team who inputs data for attendance and applications of students from West Catholic High School and West Philadelphia High School. Elom’s healthcare community interests extend to her role as a member of the Care Coordinator Team for Greater Philadelphia Health Action where she verified patients are up to date with all necessary medications, immunizations, and physicals while also providing other services to ensure their personal needs are met. She has worked with professors on their research projects.

Elom is a rising junior at UPENN’s School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Design and a minor in Sociology. Elom is a distinguished 2019 Ben Franklin School. Elom attended a private religious high school in Pennsylvania where she graduated at the top of her class.
Expertise
Elom tutors students in academic subjects including English (AP Literature and AP Language) and writing, History, and test preparation for the SAT exam for undergraduate admissions as she scored a 730 on the English component of her SAT exam. Elom also works with students on private and boarding school test preparation tutoring.
